A Little About Myself

My mom is 85 and has double knee and shoulder replacement, and is suffering from arthritis.

Pros

This lift chair was everything the salesman said it would be.

Cons

None.

Service & Delivery

Great!!
Would deal with you folks again. The sales team was very friendly and extremely helpful! I described my mother's situation and he told me exactly what chair would work for her. My mother even called me the next day, crying because she had the first nights good sleep in weeks.

A Little About Myself

Intelligent.

Pros

Comfortable

Cons

Too large of a lift chair for the person. Two people can sit in it. Smaller size would have been better. Questions should have been asked..how tall, weight of the person, etc. before order.

Service & Delivery

Ok.
Same as above.

My Father loves his new C-30 lift chair
Feb 23, 2011 1:52 PM

A Little About Myself

My father is 77 years-old and is 90% wheelchair bound. His new C-30 chair is perfect for his extended hours in the house. He often sleeps in his chair.

Pros

The chair is fantastic.

Cons

Service & Delivery

Perfect, even with all the snow delays your delivery team worked with me and kept me up to date.
Wouldn't change a thing. Your organization was excellent to work with. I cannot say enough about your customer service and follow up on the delivery of my fathers new chair. Great Job!

My favorite chair!
Feb 3, 2011 5:34 PM

A Little About Myself

Comfort oriented, handicapped with severe arthritis.

Pros

Quiet motor Lock feature on hand control Comfortable Great value

Cons

Not enough padding in chaise seat area.

Service & Delivery

Great quick delivery! I ordered this chair on a Thursday, and it was delivered on Monday morning! However, the shipping company did not call first, just showed up. Luckily my son happened to be here to help bring it in, otherwise this would have been a problem. (The shipping company needs to call the customer prior to delivery.) I would buy from U.S. Medical again--they have great prices, and their coupons are great too!
This is the second Pride C-30 lift chair I have purchased. The first one is now in my bedroom to sleep in. It's over five years old, still works great. The new one looks nice in our living room, can be used by anyone as a comfortable recliner. Of course, I love the quiet way this chair lifts you up and helps you get out. I am happy with the new design on the hand control--with backlight and optional lock. This'll be great when the little grandkids come! The only reason I gave this chair four stars instead of five, is that for some reason they have decreased the amount of padding in the chaise area of the footrest. That makes the chair look wrinkled and uneven in the front. There is a zipper underneath this area, so I will probably add some more foam padding in this area. Overall, this is a great chair, very comfortable, works great!

A Little About Myself

5'11", 350 pound, with limited mobility due to Charcot-Marie-Tooth Syndrome

Pros

Exceptionally easy to use - very stable and sturdy - transfers to and from wheelchair very smooth - price very reasonable and quality is top notch

Cons

None.

Service & Delivery

Purchased inside delivery, and set-up option, and everything went smoothly. Delivery man was able to get it through front door but no further. Subsequently the set-up man (Demetrio) unboxed it and moved it to its final location for set-up. Very friendly and cooperative.

The new CL-30 is very, very good!
Jun 12, 2010 1:25 AM

A Little About Myself

Average Health, Elderly

Pros

Sturdy, Safe

Cons

Our new CL-30 is a much better built chair than my 8 year old D-30. It is much more comfortable with thicker back rest, quieter motor operation, and most important...far lower priced than my old chair.
