Chair for my sister from fatheredanderson@gmail.com would recommend this to a friend. |
A Little About Myself My sister suffered a debilitating stroke, unable to walk or care for hersel |
Pros We were able to measure and order a chair to our measurements to make life a little more manageable for my sister. Not able to walk or stand this chair provides access for the nurses to help her. |
Cons |
Service & Delivery It arrived earlier than anticipated. Thank you |
My sister really likes the chair and its features. So do the nurses and staff at the nursing home. |

A Little About Myself I purchased this chair for my husband who has been having mobility problems for over 10 years. |
Pros Easy to use, good height for recliner, and comfortable in all positions. |
Cons None |
Service & Delivery Great--they helped in every way possible. |
Everything is wonderful, but I did miss the sale that started a few days after my order. It would have saved $300. That's the way it goes. |

A Little About Myself old |
Pros Strong, Quiet, |
Cons Too short. |
Service & Delivery Bad. I had to drive one mile to meet the big truck (in the rain) because he did not think he could turn around on our street. (he did not even come and look). |
Chair is great - My legs are too long. When I sit - Foot piece cuts off circulation. I cannot sit and relax; so I have an expensive piece of furniture I can't use. Too busy with wife's cancer condition to try to return within the 10 days. |

Service & Delivery Delivery was MUCH quicker than expected (less than two weeks) because my chair did not need to be special ordered.
I have pallet forks for my front end loader on my tractor so I unloaded the chair from the truck for the driver - then sat the chair on my porch. Because I have my own equipment, I opted for curb side delivery.
If you have a way to get the chair inside, on your own, I recommend curb side delivery. A furniture dolly (available from around $10 to over $40), setting the chair on its side then on top of the dolly, and it's a breeze to get it through the door and where you want it in your home.
READ DIRECTIONS BEFORE ASSEMBLY - no special instructions but making sure wires are properly routed saves redoing things later.
If your chair will not be right beside a wall, you will need a "cord cover" - available at office supply stores - to protect the electric cord from damage from walking or rolling things over it. It also saves from tripping over it. I found Office Depot had the best deal (less than $12 for 6 feet). |
I expected durability from a chair that was rated for so much weight. I didn't expect so much comfort. I figured there would be a toss up between function and comfort - this chair (and company) got them both right.
Now that I have this chair, I'm disappointed that I waited so long to get it. When health starts the downward trend, it's difficult to admit really needing (and not just wanting) specialty equipment. Price-wise, this chair is compatible with higher end recliners but does so much more for you.
I can imagine small grandchildren wanting to play with the chair controls. I'll tell mine I keep monsters under the chair and if they raise the chair the monsters will get out and eat them. Probably won't help but they'll get a laugh out of it. |
