The AmeriGlide Rave is an ultra-compact stair lift designed to make restoring accessibility to your multi-level home as convenient and easy as possible! Homeowners with exceptionally narrow stair cases will love the ultra-thin design of this stair lift. The lift unit takes up only slightly more than 11 inches when folded, allowing able-bodied housemates and guests optimal access to the stairs. The AmeriGlide Rave is built for durability, with a tough all-metal case construction that withstands normal wear-and-tear far better than other comparable stair lift brands. The powerful worm-rack system can safely transport up to 350 pounds of user weight, and an adjustable-height padded seat with durable folding arms ensures that you will remain comfortable during transit - the seat measures in at 19.5 inches wide and 14 inches deep.
The AmeriGlide Rave differs from many of our competitors' stair lift units in that the track attaches to the stairs themselves rather than the wall, and every point of contact uses a single bracket, making installation easier on homeowners and handymen. The Rave is compatible with any standard household power outlet, and the battery that powers the unit charges at the top or bottom of the track, providing a reserve of power that keeps your stair lift going even in the event of a power outage. An arm-mounted operation switch is included as a standard feature, along with AmeriGlide's standard array of safety switches that prevent the lift from operating if an obstruction blocks your path. The seat swivels at the top, away from the steps, so the rider can safely exit or enter the stair lift.
Best of all, the AmeriGlide Rave lifts are assembled in the USA, which means quality you can depend on.
Stair lift users need a unit that is safe, comfortable, reliable, and easy to install. The AmeriGlide Rave satisfies all of your needs. To order, contact our mobility specialists today!

The Rave stair lift is very east to operate and convenient. It eas not easy to set up. Even a Handyman took 6 hours. It is making a clickety nosie on the last 5 steps up. Otherwise it works well. |

A Little About Myself 89 year old, with difficulty going down steps |
Pros operates well. good appearance |
Cons DIFFICULT TO INSTALL. |
Service & Delivery Prompt and received all 4 packages in two consecutive days within a week |
I think, $575 for installation is too much. It is 1/4 of the price of the chair. That is unreasonable. |

A Little About Myself 63 year-old female |
Pros My 90 year-old mom is very comfortable with this stair lift |
Cons This was very difficult to install because we didn't receive all of the correct screws for the unit. The additional piece was not cut evenly. Thus the end plate doesn't fit perfectly. |
Service & Delivery Self service
Delivery was very swift |
It would have been better to have cut along plastic gear track for the additional piece instead of sending several little pieces. The chair makes a clicking noise every time it goes over one of these short tracks. |

Thank you for the 5-star review! We apologize for the noise. It will make some sound, but if it seems louder than it should be, please give our customer service department a call and we would be glad to diagnose any issues going on with the unit. (800) 922-3659 |

Disabled Old Guy from Cle Elum, WA would recommend this to a friend. |
A Little About Myself 73, tied to an oxygen machine, but not yet a fool. |
Pros Fairly easy to move all the parts onto the stairs. Fits together like a high-tech Legos or Erector set. Well made and sturdy. Feels secure in operation. |
Cons Some of the worst instructions I've ever come across. Quite loud in operation, it sounds a lot like a Mix-Master running. Track compression screw is too short to adjust out a snapping, popping noise at the top of travel. |
Service & Delivery A little slow to get here, but everything was in the boxes. |
If you are a little handy with tools, and have one other person to help occasionally, save the installation fee and install this yourself. Watch the utube video for the Karmer Pinnacle, which this machine is, for installation tips and download the installation manual for the Pinnacle as well. Don't try to use the Rave manual! It will just confuse you. Go slow, and understand how everything goes together and works before actually putting it together. |
