Service & Delivery It too was very speedy and well packed. The only drawback was that it was left at our door without a signature and it was awkward to bring in. |
I'm very pleased both with the service and the conversation with Vince. He made the whole thing quite easy to purchase. |
USM replies:
Thank you for your review. We've let Vince know that you enjoyed working with him. Our apologies for the difficulty getting the scooter in the door though! Scooters are sent "curbside delivery" via freight carriers, so unfortunately the only way we can guarantee inside delivery is if that option is chosen at the time of purchase. We recommend calling and speaking with our specialists before placing an order so that you will fully know what to expect during delivery. Enjoy your Go-Go Elite! |

A Little About Myself Retired |
Pros Easy to operate, inexpensive, totally transportable. |
Cons Need a way to secure while siting in restaurant and not right next to scooter. |
Service & Delivery Was told it would reach us in 5 to 7 days. Ordered on Friday p.m. And received it the following Wednesday. |
My wife can't walk far because of her health. We've been looking for a while and have tried out some other brands. Finally zoned in on this Go Go Elite Traveler, 3 wheeled scooter. Received it sooner than we were told it would arrive. Put it together in 20 minutes. I'm 63 and my wife is 68. She loves it. It has great variable speed so she can move out when she needs to or go my walking speed. Would buy another if I needed one. |

Pros Fast, sturdy, easy to put together, easy to drive & fun! The only scooter I ever drove was the ones at Walmart, this one can run circles around it! |
Cons the battery is the heaviest part, wish there was a way to make a lighter battery. |
Very pleased with it, would buy again |

Pros Much faster then my older scooter. Very Good Design and Craftsmanship. |
Cons None. |
Service & Delivery Delivery occurred within 5 business days! |
I use a scooter daily for work and evening events. The new Pride replaces an 8-year old Rascal scooter. The GO-GO Traveler is a solid replacement. |

A Little About Myself 75-year-old with COPD. Can walk , but not extensively. |
Pros Small and easy to maneuver. It has a 4-inch road clearance which is the reason why I bought this specific model. It cost a hundred plus dollars more, for the clearance heighth, but it is so worth it, if you use it outside like I do it is definitely a must. The 1 and 1/4rth inch clearance is only good for inside a building since even sidewalks can vary 2 inches or more. |
Cons Very difficult to insert battery charger prongs into battery. Takes 2 people to assemble and take apart, the scooter, if seat is raised from lowest position. |
Service & Delivery Exceptional service and delivery. Salesman were very helpful and I got it 2 days after it was shipped. |
All that in consideration, I like it very much for the little I use it (not in the house, outside only)and would recommend it to others. It is small, snazzy looking for a scooter and has great maneuverability in tight spaces. However, I had not considered that I would have to use my right thumb on the lever at all times to make it go. After awhile my thumb starts hurting (arthritis) making it difficult to keep pressing the lever so I have to stop and rest my hand. Reversing the levers, so I could use my left hand, to operate and go forward would be a great plus. |

Service & Delivery Delivery was a snap, although i did have to meet the truck at the petrol station on the corner, since I live in a very wooded area the semi had a problem getting into.
I think the packaging weighed more than the GoGo did. |
Oct of '08, I found I was no longer allowed to spend a lot of time on my feet and since then things have gone down hill.
In March of 'O9 i got my first 3-wheel GoGo from USM and have used it daily to get around on anything harder than a carpet. In the past 2 1/2 years i have logged over 11,750 miles on that little machine and it has held up wonderfully. In normal usage that would be about 6 years of running. Although I have 3 sets of tires and one motor changed out, it has really out preform the expectation that I originally had. I have very narrow corridors to navigate and it was a dream to travel them without any trouble.
Now i am thinking about a second for around the house and guess where i will be getting this one as soon as i get the the finances together. |
