Pros

Safe, Sturdy

Cons

Great comfortable liftchair. Purchased this chair for 1/2 the price of the same exact model in a medical supply store. Received whereas the store was going to charge $35. Operates smoothly with lighted controls.

Lift actuator
Feb 5, 2010 5:50 AM

A Little About Myself

Caregiver.

Pros

Safe and sturdy.

Cons

Lift actuator a problem.
The chair is comfy and provides the necessary help for the patient to arise from a seated position. However, the lift actuator when in full recline slips in back of the chair and out of reach for the elderly patient...the reason seems to be the cord is coiled tightly and springs back. Perhaps it will loosen as it becomes used more and more. It was purchased in December and I have had to assist the patient in getting it back within his reach.

It is great to see that everyone isn't out to get rich, over selling a product that makes life be more bearable for the elderly.
