Pros This chair is great. Purchased it for my '77 year old mom with Demetia. It is so much easier to get her in and out of. The chair is proportioned to her frame which prevents her from sliding down or me having to use a wedge to hold her in place. |
Cons None |
Service & Delivery Excellent and timely. |
Would highly recommend! I would love one for myself. The sales associates were also very helpful. |

A Little About Myself I am short, and getting skinny. |
Pros I think these chairs are a very well built chair for any one that needs a lift chair. We have 2 of them. |
Cons I don't have any. |
I hope anyone who needs one of these chairs comes to you first, before they buy from anyone else, as they will see how much the construction is better. |

A Little About Myself |
Pros The chair was sized to fit my mother-in-law who is small to petite. She loves the chair. Sometimes I see her just standing and watching the chair as she operates it. Easy to put together and it worked from the get go. Controls are simple and easy to use. |
Cons My mother-in-law does not have any. I would like to adjust the foot rest higher; but for her, the controls would get too complicated for her to operate. |
Service & Delivery Delivery to Honolulu was prohibitive. I had it delivered to Aloha Freight in Compton, CA and they delivered it to their distribution center for under $200. |
I would have preferred more accurate dimensions and shipping weight for getting ocean shipping costs. |

A Little About Myself I'm the son of 83 year-old parents. |
Pros |
Cons |
Service & Delivery I worried about relying on a stranger to make a delivery to my parents home in the middle of winter, when I was at work. I needn't have worried. The customer service team alerted me and my parents with a delivery time, and then they stuck to that time and got the chair where it was meant to go. Thank you. |
My Mom has chronic pain in her lower back and finds it hard to get into a comfortable position. That said, she was somewhat bed ridden for a long time and even in bed, couldn't find the support and position that helped with the pain. The lift chair has changed her life considerably. The chair: allows her to sit without considerable pain, aids her in getting into and out of the sitting position, and allows her to change her position without movement (and pain). It's not a remedy for the chronic pain, but it makes her day-to-day life easier and believe me, that in itself is well worth the investment. |

Pros Comfortable for the most part. Easy getting in/out of chair. Easy operation. |
Cons No headrest. Should be more cushioning up top, my head has a hard time reaching the top of the chair for support. |
Service & Delivery Very quick shipment and delivery! |

A Little About Myself |
Pros It truly is a lifesaver. Helped Gram remain independent after a fall. Helps keep her confidence up. |
Cons During the first week of use, she got stranded in the recline position. Thank goodness her son was home to help her out. The company sent a repair person who fixed it right away. She was wary initially, but has grown to appreciate it. Also, we ordered two chairs and the second chair was sent to the wrong state. That was a headache. |
Service & Delivery Repair service was good, delivery service service not. They shipped it to the wrong state, and the chair was a week late. |
Overall, a good chair, but a few initial glitches we had to get over. |

A Little About Myself Caregiver |
Pros Sturdy |
Cons |
My Mother is a stroke survivor. Her stroke was relatively severe costing her the use of the left side of her body and the loss of a large portion of her brain. The liftchair is extremely comfortable and she finds the remote easy to use. One problem we have encountered is that there is nothing that prevents her from holding down the up button until it stands her up and dumps her out of the chair. It would be nice to have a remote with some sort of safety device that would help prevent a mentally impaired user from this type of potentially severe accident. |

A Little About Myself Disabled. Spinal cord injury. Athletic. Average Health. Crutch user. |
Pros Sturdy. Good for relining. Safe. |
Cons Uncomfortable, doesn't recline enough. |
Following shoulder surgery, I needed to sleep in a recliner. It's comfortable for reading, but not for sleeping since it doesn't lay flat, thereby putting to much weight on my hips. My head hits the upper middle upholstery button. |
